Tweak Recorded Timings

In 2007 and later PowerPoint you can use rehearse timings to record and set timings for animations and slide transitions.

While you can easily tweak transition timings the recorded animation times are not visible to the user and the only way to make slight modifications is to start all over again.

Shyam Pillai has a free AddIn to make slight adjustments here BUT it didn't work for us in 2007 and 2010.

We need to do this sometimes so we wrote our own version. You are very welcome to download and use it but there's no support or guarantees!

Download and run the installer with PowerPoint closed. When you next use PowerPoint there will be a new EDIT TIMING tab. You can easily read and alter the animation times for individual slides and use SET to save them.

IMPORTANT NOTES

Always use this on a COPY!
Tweak ONLY reports animation timings made with Rehearse Timings.
It will not work on Macs or versions before 2007
Only make small modifications to the timing until you understand how the timings work!
