PowerPoint, can't type in NOTES, search for clip art, slide thumbnails jump to top on their own!
Any of these might look like a supernatural being in your PC! The culprit is probably white board software from SmartTech. The latest version doesn't seem to work well with PowerPoint.
Some Solutions

Try reverting to an earlier version of the Smart software. The problem seems to be in the latest update.

Stop the software starting with Windows.

In the control panel turn of Ink Aware for PowerPoint
