2010 BW Fix

For some people trying to print in pure Black and White results in Greyscale in 2010. There is a Microsoft hotfix which was included in regular updates. For us though it doesn't work! (now updated)

Download the installer HERE (CANCELLED)

Close PowerPoint and run the installer msi file. Next time you open PowerPoint you should see a new section in the HOME tab.

Everything should then be obvious!

You probably already have the hotfix now but you may also need to fix the registry. The Microsoft page now explains how to do this but if you are not confident with the registry adjustment, unzip and run the key below. Use of our keys is entirely at your own discretion!

Some People Are Seeing This in 2013 and even 2016 / 365 and 2019

No hotfix is needed but you may need a different registry key. Here most printers work as expected but some need the registry key. Unzip the file and run either the 2013 or 2016 key. You will get warning of the end of the world but the world will not end. The delete key file removes the added key again should you want to do this. If you have 365 / 2019 use the 2016 key.
